SYZYGY has won the multi-stage pitch for the UX/UI account of the Rhein-Main Transport Association (RMV). The decisive factors in the decision were the consistent focus on the customer journey, a systematic approach and a clearly insight- and evidence-based working methodology.

As part of the collaboration, SYZYGY is further developing the digital user experience across RMV’s key touchpoints. These include the RMVgo app, the webshop, the sales portal and in-store sales systems. SYZYGY is also supporting RMV GmbH in the conception, implementation and quality assurance of the user interfaces for the rollout of a new sales system for B2B and B2C applications. The aim is to optimize the user experience holistically and develop scalable UX/UI concepts that meet the growing demands of digital mobility services.

At SYZYGY, an interdisciplinary team led by Client Service Director Hideki Kose and Executive Creative Director Christian Auth is responsible for the project. SYZYGY brings expertise in the areas of strategy, user experience, UI design and digital brand management to the collaboration.

We’re delighted that we were able to convince RMV with our focus on holistic, evidence-based customer experience solutions. With RMV, we are expanding our portfolio with a strong brand that is deeply rooted in the region and highly relevant to society in the mobility sector.

Felix Schröder, Managing Director of SYZYGY

About the Rhein-Main Transport Association (RMV)

Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) is one of the largest public transport associations in Germany. It organizes regional bus and rail transport across approximately 14,000 square kilometers – around two-thirds of the area of Hesse. Around 5 million people live in the association’s area, rising to about 6.7 million including transitional fare zones. RMV coordinates and designs transport services, fares, networks and timetables, as well as overarching marketing across the association area. In addition, RMV is committed to the sustainable and capacity-driven expansion of infrastructure and the innovative further development of local public transport (ÖPNV). In this way, RMV strengthens the development of the Rhine-Main region.

Since its launch in 1995, more and more people have been using public transport in the RMV network. In 2025, around 839 million passengers traveled by bus and train within the network.
