Positive Digital Experience thrives on creative ideas and professional expertise. In addition to a relaxed working environment, employees need mutual exchange and personal development in order to achieve great things and grow. For us, these are fundamental building blocks of entrepreneurial success.
Ms. Carstens, what employee development opportunities does the SYZYGY GROUP offer?
From consulting to technologies, we have numerous regular training and development courses and encourage all colleagues to take part. In addition to face-to-face events, we offer a wide range of hybrid and online training courses, especially in our digital field of activity, and also offer coaching.
Everyone should be able to expand their management, creative and soft skills in order to achieve their professional and personal goals. In addition, our Self-Growth Retreats take place twice a year, bringing together around 30 colleagues from all Group companies.
What exactly is done there?
The retreat includes joint workshops based on the concept of “Total Fitness”. The aim is to reflect on personal and professional experiences. Individual coaching helps colleagues to set specific goals and develop ways to achieve them. They learn how to face the challenges of everyday life and master them with confidence. Ultimately, the focus is also on lifelong learning.
Where do these events take place?
The locations selected for the retreats are in Germany. This decision was made with regard to the most climate-friendly arrival and departure possible. The locations also cater for participants with a sustainable, local culinary concept. Sustainability is simply important to us and we want to set a good example.
A positive digital experience comes from creative ideas, expertise, collaboration, and personal growth.

Are there any other measures?
Alongside our foundation in training and development, each site also runs its own support and development programmes. These include Tech Camp 2023, a Generative AI hackathon where 22 colleagues developed an HR tool for recruitment using GenAI in two days.
I was also interested in SYZYGY Warsaw and Ars Thanea’s mentoring programme to practice empathy and emotions in the workplace, which focuses on the principles of non-violent communication.
